The story of Olives Et Al:
Way back in 1992 Giles and Annie Henschel sold everything they owned, bought two motorbikes and spent 12 months riding around the Mediterranean, Middle East and North Africa to search out the best recipes they could find. Back in rainy old Britain they set out about recreating what they had discovered and Olives Et Al was born on 28th October 1993, with the original tagline of “World Food Made Great In Britain” to emphasise the fact that what we sell we really do make.
From the original specialism in olives and olive oils we’ve branched out and extended the range and category of products to include sauces, marinades, dressings, snacks, freshly roasted nuts and seeds, as well as ingredients, deli products and accessories. All available for either food service or retail. Everything we make and sell is free from anything artificial and we’re also BRC accredited (just in case that’s important to you).
Basically, we reckon we’re all about being friendly, open, honest and knowledgeable and making sure we treat everyone as they’d like to be treated. After all, we think your success is just as important as ours so we’re always making sure what we do is relevant by creating stuff that keeps your customers coming back for more keeping both you and us busy. An abiding principle is still to take a great deal of pride in everything we do, keeping it common sense, simple and uncomplicated - just like us.
