ANGELO SATO is CHEF and FOUNDER at two Michelin-starred HUMBLE CHICKEN, LONDON. 

Angelo Sato is the chef and founder of Humble Chicken, located in the vibrant Soho district of London. Known for his innovative approach to traditional Japanese cuisine.  Everything is designed to provide a Kitchen theatre experience.

The restaurant was awarded one Michelin star at the Michelin Guide UK and Ireland 2024 and it's second Michelin star in the Michelin Guide UK and Ireland 2025.

Biography 

Angelo Sato’s culinary background is marked by his extensive experience in high-calibre restaurants, including a significant stint at the renowned Restaurant Gordon Ramsay in London. Sato's deep appreciation for Japanese cooking techniques and his desire to explore and reinvent traditional dishes led him to open Humble Chicken. His philosophy centres on sustainability and the

nose-to-tail cooking ethic, ensuring minimal waste while maximising flavour. 

The Restaurant 

Situated in Soho, the Humbe Chicken offers a 16-course tasting menu.

The intimate setting of the restaurant, with its counter seating arrangement, allows guests to watch as their dishes are prepared, providing an immersive dining experience.
