Great British Menu 2016 is coming to a close tonight as Tommy Banks, Mark Abbott, Mark Froydenlund and Adam Reid cook a banquet celebrating the ordinary citizens who’ve been honoured by the Queen.

Great British Menu 2016 makes history as the Palace of Westminster opens its doors for the first televised banquet to be held in the historic House of Commons Members’ Dining Room.

Mark Abbott will be serving his starter of 'Ordinary to Extraordinary. We spoke to him about Great British Menu when we visited him at Midsummer House this year.

The fish course is by Tommy Banks from the Black Swan at Oldstead - read more about him here

The main course comes from Mark Froydenlund, head chef at two Michelin-starred  Marcus

And finally cooking dessert is Adam Reid from Adam Reid at The French in Manchester.
