Great British Menu 2020 chefs: Leigh Ferguson, Northern Ireland heat
Leigh Ferguson is new to the Great British Menu and is representing his home town of Lisburn in Northern Ireland.
He started in the industry at 12 years-old, he spent ten years at the Square Bistro in Lisburn beofre joining Clenaghan’s restaurant in Moira as head chef.

He took over from Michelin-star winning chef Danni Barry and he has since earned a Bib Gourmand from the Michelin guide and he’s created the ultimate destination for the local community.
Leigh’s cooking is inspired by quality local ingredients which he makes his own by using exotic seasonings for original new dishes.
For the competition his menu celebrates Northern Irish authors and the local produce.
