Mark Morris, founder of The Staff Canteen, will be hosting the awards.

Looking ahead to the 2025 edition, he said: “The countdown is very much on to when we can all come together again to do what we love most – celebrating the best in hospitality.

“There is no getting away from the fact it is a tough time for many in the industry right now, but there are still some amazing things happening in restaurants and pubs up and down the country.

“We can’t wait to see who you feel deserves to be shortlisted this year across our wide range of categories and giving out some more gold mugs in November!”

Small Contribution. Big Impact.

The Staff Canteen has always been more than a website—it’s a community, built by and for hospitality. We share the wins, the challenges, the graft, and the inspiration that keeps kitchens alive.

We believe in staying open to everyone, but creating this content takes real resources. If you’ve ever found value here—whether it’s a recipe, an interview, or a laugh when you needed it most—consider giving just £3 to keep it going.

A little from you keeps this space free for all. Let’s keep lifting the industry, together.
