Individual Braised Beef Yorkies

As an incredibly popular meat within the UK, beef recipes are vast and varied. With a range of beef cuts to consider as well as cooking methods and flavour pairings, beef recipes are varied in flavour, texture and preparation time - give this one a try for yourself! Serves: 10


  • Ingredients
  • 150g Eggs beaten
  • 150g Milk
  • 150g Plain flour
  • 50g MAGGI Beef Concentrated Liquid Fonds
  • 800g Sliced Beef lean
  • 200g Onions finely diced or grated
  • 200g MAGGI Rich & Rustic Tomato Sauce 3kg


Seal the beef in a non stick pan
Add the onion and cook for 10 minutes
Add the MAGGI liquid fond and Rich and Rustic, cover with water then cover and braise for 2 hours
Add the flour to a bowl make a well, add the eggs then beat in the milk to make a batter
Heat a non stick Yorkshire pudding tin an oven at 180c
Make 10 individual Yorkshire puddings by poring the mix in the pre heated tin
Cook till dark golden brown
Top with the braised beef and braising sauce
