Irish coffee with citra leaves

5 min

I personally like using a straw for this.
Eat the Citra leaf first, then sip the hot whisky and make your way up.
So, so good and lot of fun to make.
Enjoy.

Ingredients

  • • Citra leaf 1 piece • Cane syrup 20ml • Whisky 50ml • Coffee 160ml • Whipped cream 50ml

Method

• Pour the cane syrup and whisky into a coffee cup or glass.
• Place the cup in the microwave for 20 second, it’s a good trick as it will warm up the glass and the alcohol at the same time.
• Now, bend a small spoon, get it close to the layer of whisky (dome side facing up) and pour slowly the Coffee on top of the spoon, it will flow nicely on the side of the spoon and prevent the coffee to mix into the whisky, so you can make a nice layer.
• Add the whipped cream on top of the coffee and finish with the Citra leave.
• Serve.
