Sharwood’s Sweet & Sour Chicken Salad

From roasted chicken to stuffed chicken breast, chicken recipes are vast and varied. Why not give the following Sharwood’s Sweet & Sour Chicken Salad recipe a try? For this recipe we combine Sharwood’s Sweet & Sour Sauce with yoghurt and serve it with a sliced chicken breast, salad leaves, mango and cucumber; garnished with spring onion and mint. Ingredients

  • • 400g Sharwood’s Sweet and Sour Sauce
  • • 200g Greek or plain yogurt
  • • 500g Mixed salad leaves
  • • 2 Fresh mangos (diced)
  • • 2 Cucumbers (peeled, de-seeded and diced)
  • • 10 Chicken breasts (roasted, chilled and sliced)
  • To serve:
  • • 5 Spring onions (chopped)
  • • Handful of fresh mint (chopped)

Method

1. In a bowl mix together the yogurt and Sharwood’s Sweet and Sour Sauce.
2. In a separate bowl, mix the salad leaves with the cucumber and mango
3. To serve, place the sliced chicken over the salad and either drizzle with the Sharwood’s Sweet & Sour dressing or serve in a suitable bowl.
Hints & Tips:
• Try adding some Sharwood’s noodles to the salad
• This also works really well with Sharwood’s Honey and Lemon Sauce or why not try mixing either the Sharwood’s Korma or Sharwood’s Tikka Sauce with yoghurt for a spicy dip
