'World First' Two-Level Washer Leads Host of New Innovations at Hobart Consultant Summit

200 specialist consultants from across the UK, Europe, the Middle East, Far East and Australia, have been given an exclusive first look at a category busting Two-Level Washer, the spearhead to a host of new innovations, as the manufacturer’s R&D department welcomed delegates to its headquarters in Offenburg, Germany.

Consultants at May’s MEETING POINT FUTURE 2019 event raved over the new machine, which has two wash chambers that can be used singly or simultaneously, offering twice the capacity per wash cycle but with the footprint of a conventional model. Delegates were unanimous in their praise, calling it: “seriously clever thinking”, “a massive time and space saver”, “…truly unique” and a “glimpse in the future of warewashing”.

Even though the machine is not available in the UK until the Autumn, it didn’t deter consultants from placing pre-orders once it does enter the market.
The two-day event featured new product demonstrations, a comprehensive factory tour, training and talks on topics such as connected BIM, automation 4.0, and the commercial kitchen of the future.

Upon welcoming the international guests, Hobart Group President, Global Warewash Axel Beck, spoke of the need to be “…optimally prepared for the economic, technical and digital challenges,” and the importance of “deal[ing] with future issues.”

“This is our claim” said Beck, “…looking ahead, looking beyond our own nose, being a visionary.”

Other innovations on show included Hobart’s new range of hood type machines which benefit from touchscreen displays and full connectivity with the company’s WashSmart app. The new app lets operators control the integral functionality of the machines at the touch of a button, making it simple to monitor levels of detergent and water in real time and determine overall operating costs; to download an instant hygiene report; request a quote and order necessary consumables and to receive error reports for any machine breakdowns.

More information about the Two-Level Washer will be unveiled nearer to its autumn launch. Those looking to find out more about Hobart’s class leading range can contact the company direct or speak to their local dealer today.
