Biography
Sajeev Nair was 28 when he started in Trishna as sous chef in April 2012, with Karam (JKS Restaurants Co-Founder) leading the kitchen. Sajeev progressed through the kitchen until, in January 2017, he was given the role of executive chef.
Trishna
Trishna was awarded a Michelin Star in the 2012 Michelin Guide and has retained it ever since. It is located in the trendy Marylebone Village and is renowned for its distinctive take on the coastal cuisine of southwest
India.

The informal and pared-back aesthetic of the interiors, offset with antique mirrors, marble tabletops, and original wooden panelling, offer a sociable neighbourhood dining atmosphere, with terrace doors that open onto Blandford Street, creating a semi-alfresco ambience throughout the restaurant.
India's southwest coast provides the kitchen with most of its influences, and the menu is full of vibrant, exciting dishes, including some original creations from the tandoor. However, the undoubted star of the show is a wondrously rich version of the dish made famous by the original Trishna in Mumbai: brown crab with lots of butter and a kick of red chilli. The restaurant's informal and sociable neighbourhood dining atmosphere, with terrace doors that open onto Blandford Street, creates a unique semi-alfresco ambience.
