Tom Phillips is the head chef at Michelin starred Restaurant Story.
He has represented the UK at the European finals of the Bocuse d'Or 2018 and was the Bocuse d'Or 2019 UK Team Captain.
He started cooking when he was 16, as a pot wash in a local pub. He has since worked at Celtic Manor, The Ritz and Per Se where he stayed there for two years.
He then moved to Paris, working at Epicure with Eric Frechon, another 3 michelin star restaurant. Heading back to the UK he took on a role at L'Enclume with Simon Rogan where he started his Bocuse training.
He was approached by Tom Sellers after that to work at Restaurant Story where he has been since 2017.
