Sweet pastry with a twist

This is a bit diferent pastry that works very well with apple pies lemon tart etc.

Ingredients

  • 2lb butter
  • 4lb flour
  • 1lb icing sugar
  • 0.5 lb marzipan
  • 4 eggs
  • 200ml cream fraiche

Method

Mix flour butter and marxipan to breadcrumbs
Add sugar
Mix eggs with creme fraiche and add to above mix
Dont over mix
If a bit too wet keep on kneeding on table with another 200g ish flour
Chill for at least 2h before rolling out
This should be enough for 8-10 9'' rings.
