  • 450 g onions, Sliced
  • 600 ml white wine vinegar
  • 1.5 kg cooked beetroot Grated
  • 450 g Granny Smith apples Grated
  • 450 g sugar
  • 2 tsp sea salt


Place the onions and vinegar in a non-reactive saucepan. Heat gently and bring to a simmer. Add and Mix in the beetroot, apple, sugar and sea salt and bring to the boil. ??Reduce the heat and simmer gently until the relish thickens
