milk jelly

similar to, but lighter than panna cotta.

Ingredients

  • 250ml milk A
  • 1 tbsp caster A
  • grated zest i lemon. A
  • seeds from 1 vanilla pod (optional) A
  • 2tsp powdered gelatine B
  • 4 tblsp cold water B

Method

heat A gently til dissolved.
stir B together to soften.
add B to A, strain, stir until thickens like double cream,.
pour into wetted dariole moulds. leave to set for 2 hours.
