a simple recipe, for fresh pittas, can also be rolled into small rolls and steamed for a variation

Ingredients

  • 450g Flour
  • 450g Whole wheat flour
  • 7 g Yeast
  • 600 ml Water
  • 28g Olive oil
  • 21g Salt
  • 3g Sugar

Method

1 Combine yeast, flours, olive oil, salt and sugar.
2 mix on low speed for 4 mins then 3 mins at a medium speed the dough will be sightly moist let prove for 30 mins.
3 Cut into 128g and shape place on trays and let rest for 10 mins bake at 260oc for 3 to 4 mins.
