FRYMASTER TAP INTO TOUCH SCREEN TECHNOLOGY

Welbilt once again bring innovation to the table with the launch of the Frymaster FQ4000 easyToucH - the third brand within the Welbilt portfolio to use patented easyTouch technology.

Opening up a world of frying options, the FQ4000 easyTouch allows caterers to experience frying at its finest, yet simplest form. This is thanks to the addition of an intuitive, 7” colour touchscreen which provides one touch access to pioneering frying controls such as auto filtration and quality control display; both of which enable the operator to filter the oil at the simple touch of the screen, at the optimum time.

Designed to help caterers guarantee excellent frying results, the FQ4000 easyTouch control panel also has the added benefit of holding pre-loaded cooking profiles, meaning operators can conveniently tailor their fryer according to their menus. This system not only reduces the risk of errors during busy service periods, but it also ensures that high quality, consistent fry results are achieved; even staff that have had minimal training are able to guarantee excellent fry results with the FQ4000 easyTouch thanks to the step-by-step instructions available with each cooking profile.

For operators looking to extend catering convenience for their staff, the FQ4000 easyTouch is the perfect addition to any kitchen, particularly those that already use other easyTouch units, such as Convotherm and Merrychef, as Steve Hemsil, Sales Director – UK & Ireland, Welbilt, explains:

“As with all Convotherm and Merrychef easyTouch models, the FQ4000 easyTouch is capable of KitchenConnect communication. This means that operators are able to create connected kitchens with Welbilt, thus easing the training and servicing process.”

Taking simple frying yet another step further, the FQ4000 also boasts SMART4U technology, such as the Oil Attendant. This system automatically replenishes oil from an in-cabinet supply which minimises oil handling, thus improving efficiency and reducing health and safety risk, as Steve elaborates:

“The FQ4000 easyTouch truly puts the user first, both from a simplicity and safety point view thanks to the inclusion of innovative safety features. These features help kitchens to run swiftly and safely by fostering a frying process that’s efficient, intuitive, productive and most importantly, safe.”

Also exceptionally cost effective, the FQ4000 easyTouch on average uses 40% less oil and 10% less energy than other leading frying models. This is thanks to the FQ4000’s unique open frypot design which also helps operators save time and labour due to easy cleaning properties.
