National Vegetarian Week, running from 16th-22nd May, is now in its 24th year and allows vegetarians and meat-eaters to consider and explore different ingredients and recipes that may not usually be considered.

In our modern day vegetarian recipes are becoming far more common to find on most menus – a lot now with their own ‘vegetarian’ section, however this was not always the case. Years back most vegetarians would know the feeling of ‘eating what you’re told’ and always consuming one of the same three or four meals being served on each restaurant menu.
