FOODSERVICE SPECIFICATION LEADER SPECIFI AND PARTNER THE STAFF CANTEEN ANNOUNCE SUPPORT OF TWO CHARITIES DURING UPCOMING VIRTUAL TRADE SHOW

Foodservice equipment specification leader Specifi are pleased to announce support of Hospitality Action and The Burnt Chef Project.
During the upcoming vNEXT online conference and trade show, Hospitality Action’s new Chefs at Home cookbook will be publicised. The book features recipes from 54 of the UK’s best-loved chefs including Angela Hartnett and Tom Kerridge. Proceeds from the book will benefit Hospitality Action’s work to support industry professionals affected by the pandemic.
Hospitality professionals can register for the event at www.specifivnext.com/register/ and on the same page pre-order the Chefs From Home cookbook by clicking the Hospitality Action logo.
Additionally, Burnt Chef Project Kris Hall will give a presentation on the mental health issues now facing chefs and other hospitality professionals during this difficult time.
Specifi Vice President of Sales, UK & Ireland Nic Banner commented, “It is so important to us to support these two worthwhile causes. Hospitality Action provide immeasurable assistance to our hardworking industry colleagues who need a hand. And the Burnt Chef Project is helping erase the stigma that often accompanies mental health challenges.”
The vNEXT-IBITION virtual trade show will be held on 17th March 2021, and will feature a wide range of cooking and equipment demonstrations from top chefs, industry-leading speakers and immersive exhibits of the top new products that will power the industry’s post-pandemic rebound.
Attendees to the free vNEXT-IBITION can expect the virtual version of The Staff Canteen Live to deliver the UK’s best chefs with the same level of interaction as they would on stage – visitors will be able to participate in live Q&As, watch inspiring demos and gain access to recipes plus panel debates focusing on topical industry issues, trends and advice.
