The inspector described Lebnani as ‘Delivering authentic cooking and atmosphere that transport you straight to the Lebanese capital.’

Located in the heart of Reigate, Lebnani was founded by Chef Jad Youssef, the driving force behind the hugely successful Yalla Yalla restaurants in Soho, Fitzrovia, and Greenwich. Known for bringing Beirut’s vibrant street food scene to London, Jad now brings that same passion and authenticity to Surrey.

Since opening in 2020, Lebnani has won a loyal following for its bold, ingredient-driven mezze, and was hailed as “small but perfectly judged” by The Guardian’s Jay Rayner, who praised its “seriously good” cooking in a glowing review.

Lebnani’s 1 AA Rosette places it among a select group of restaurants that demonstrate “culinary precision and attention to ingredients,” according to the AA’s long-established rating system. The inspector particularly loved about Lebnani:
• Beirut soul food - Authentic, home-spun Lebanese dishes designed for sharing in the family-style.
• Handy location - Great pitstop for days out in nearby Priory Park and Reigate Priory.
• Parking - Street parking after 6pm, while convenient car parks are an easy stroll away.
• Close to the station - Reigate station just a 10 minute stroll away.

With roots in Beirut and a career that has spanned from London to Hong Kong, Jad’s culinary journey continues to raise the bar for Middle Eastern cuisine in the UK.
