Lockhart Catering Equipment Sponsors Obsession

Continental Chef Supplies (CCS), part of Lockhart Catering Equipment, has partnered with Lafont – exclusive suppliers of Michelin branded chef clothing – to sponsor the 25th anniversary of Obsession Food Festival.

Taking place from 24th January to 9th February 2025, the festival is one of Europe’s premier gastronomic events, with world-class chefs attending from all over the globe.

Curated by executive chef Lisa Goodwin-Allen and hosted at Northcote in Lancashire, this years’ line up includes 21 talented chefs, boasting an impressive total of 27 Michelin stars between them. Each chef will craft a bespoke menu for the event that pushes the boundaries of culinary innovation.

Simon Britten, Head of Marketing at Lockhart Catering Equipment, is excited about the event:
“Obsession is one of the most prestigious culinary events in the world and has become a hub of innovation, so we’re delighted to be sponsoring the festival at this milestone anniversary. There’s a fantastic line up of chefs this year, so guests are sure to be wowed by the culinary creativity.”

The highly coveted event reportedly had a waiting list in the thousands, with food fans travelling far and wide to sample some of the most delectable dishes available.

As well as sponsoring the event, Lockhart Catering Equipment has also organised for several Craft Guild of Chefs National Chef of the Year finalists from this year and last year to attend the festival, including Orry Shand and Alex Angelogiannis.

Whilst in Lancashire, the finalists will also be embarking on a Bowland & Bay artisanal food tour around some of the North’s finest culinary suppliers, including award-winning micro-breweries, gin distilleries, local ice cream makers, and dairy farms.

Small Contribution. Big Impact.

We believe in staying open to everyone, but creating this content takes real resources. If you’ve ever found value here—whether it’s a recipe, an interview, or a laugh when you needed it most—consider giving just £3 to keep it going.
