RH Amar defends Chefs’ Football Tournament for Farm Africa

Teams from across the UK food and hospitality industry came together on Sunday 11 June for Michelin-starred chef, Paul Foster’s Chefs’ Football event in aid of Farm Africa in Birmingham.

Congratulations to the winners, RH Amar, who successfully defended their title and took home the Chefs’ Football trophy.

We would like to say a huge thank you to all the players for taking part in the fundraising tournament and supporting farmers in eastern Africa to grow and sell more food, while protecting the environment for generations to come.

It was brilliant to see the teams, which included players from Heaney's Cardiff, Salt, 670 GRAMS, Aubrey Allen Restaurant, Restaurant Sat Bains, Launceston Place, Table Talk Foundation, The Man behind the Curtain and Woven by Adam Smith, display their skills on the field and celebrate football and farming.

We are now only a few weeks away from the next Chefs’ Football tournament, which will take place in London on Sunday 30 July. If you are part of the hospitality industry and would like to take part in the London tournament, sign your team up at www.farmafrica.org/chefsfootball.

Aside from getting your staff together to meet teams from other restaurants and enjoy some football, Chefs’ Football is also a chance to contribute to Farm Africa's vital work. Farm Africa is a charity dedicated to promoting sustainable agricultural practices, strengthening markets and protecting the environment across eastern Africa.
