Also announced to appear, and making his debut at the event, is fellow CBeebies presenter Ben Faulks a.k.a Mr Bloom on Sunday 31 August. Ben will join Jamie Oliver and a whole host of chefs to help inspire kids of all ages with the joys of growing their own food.

This year’s Big Feastival boasts an enviable line-up of children’s entertainment across the weekend including Adam Henson’s Cotswold Farm Park, brand new kids’ attractions and exciting details of this year’s Little Dudes Den and Big Top Tent activities are still to be revealed.

More top chefs have also been added to the ever-growing culinary line up including celebrated foodie Gizzi Erskine, former DJ and founder of London’s ‘Ceviche’ and ‘Andina’ restaurants Martin Morales, and ‘Fifteen’ graduate turned TV chef Aaron Craze. The Big Feastival will also welcome local talent Emily Watkins, Head Chef at ‘The Kingham Plough’ and James Graham, Head Chef at the ‘Bibury Court Hotel’.

These latest names will join an incredible roster of the UK’s leading chefs including Jamie Oliver and his mentor Gennaro Contaldo, Two Star Michelin award winners Nathan Outlaw and Ashley Palmer-Watts, TV favourites Monica Galetti and Valentine Warner and grill master Christian Stevenson, AKA DJ BBQ with further special guest chefs still to be announced for the food fest extravaganza.

In addition to the stellar programme of chefs, the ever-popular Street Food Alley will make a welcome return to the festival with the hottest line up of British street food traders to date.

Those trading include The Bowler with his ‘Lawn Ranger’ grass fed van, Anna Mae’s with their mouth-watering Mac N Cheese and Crêpe Lucette with their French delicacies. Adding a taste of Asia will be Dosa Deli, while Big Apple Hot Dogs bring their own twist to the iconic American snack and Mother Clucker plate up twice batter-fried chicken from their converted US Army ambulance. Italian food fans should look no further than The Cooking Cooks while those seeking Latino flavours can enjoy classic Mexican fare courtesy of Margo & Rita.

With a whole host of foodie delights and pop up restaurants to be announced over the coming weeks, The Big Feastival will have something to whet everyone’s appetite.
