The Araki wins three stars in the Michelin Guide UK 2018

The Araki receive three stars in the Michelin Guide UK 2018 which was launched live for the second time in London on October 2.

We're excited to announce that The Araki is the first Japanese restaurant to claim three Michelin stars in the Michelin Guide UK joining the likes of Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester, Alain Roux at The Waterside Inn and last year's only restaurant to gain three stars, Heston Blumenthal's The Fat Duck.

Claude Bosi for Bibendum has also joined the two star club taking his place alongside the

likes of The Raby HuntMidsummer HouseRestaurant Sat Bains and L'Enclume.

The new one stars in London include A Wong, Jamavar, La Dame de Pic, Vineet Bhatia London, Aquavit and Elystan Street (The Square also received a star which wasn't announced during the ceremony).

And from the rest of the UK Matt Worswick at the Latymer, Lympstone Manor, Coworth Park, Clock House, The Dining Room at Whatley Manor, Moor Hall, The Coach, Paco Tapas, Loch Bay and Wild Honey Inn.

For the second consecutive year, Michelin also awarded a special award for Michelin Welcome and Service Award which went to the Michelin starred, Bubbledogs.
