Liqueur cherries
Similar to griottine cherries. Takes a while to mature, but well worth the wait, and a great way to preserve.
Ingredients
Method
Blanch (A) for 10 seconds, refresh and dry.
Dissolve (B) together, then bring to the boil, and boil until threads form.
Place (A) into jars, pour the hot syrup (B) over and allow to cool for 24 hours. Add (C) and stir well. Allow to mature for 3 months.
