- • 40g vegetable oil
- • 50g margarine
- • 350g onions
- • 454ml milk
- • 500g red Leicester cheese (grated)
- • 4 medium tomatoes, sliced
- • freshly chopped parsley

Method
Pre-heat the oven at 190°C.
2. Sauté the onion until soften in a frying pan.
3. Grease an oven dish with margarine.
4. Layer the dish with Aviko Pom' Sautees and sliced onions.
5. Sprinkle half of the cheese onto the layer of potatoes.
6. Continue with layers to 1cm below the rim of the dish, pour the milk over the dish and top with sliced onions and remainder of the cheese.
7. Use the tomatoes as garnish on top of the dish.
8. Cook for 45 minutes at 190°C.
9. Check whether the dish is thoroughly cooked through and sprinkle with parsley.
Tip
Serve with cooked ham and garden peas.
