vanilla brulee

heat oven to 150oc
bring milk and vanilla to boil remove allow to infuse for 1hr

Ingredients

  • 500ml double cream
  • 1 vanilla pod
  • 125g caster suagr
  • 80g egg yolks

Method

heat oven to 150oc
bring milk and vanilla to boil remove allow to infuse for 1hr
pass
whisk egg yolks and sugar, mix this with the milk mxitre, pour into dives, bake in a bain marie until set , should have slight wobble when ready, remove and chill
