WIN a £200 voucher for a Michelin-starred restaurant of your choice

Did you know British Lion Eggs are the only eggs recognised by the food standards agency (FSA) as being safe to be served runny or even raw to vulnerable groups such as pregnant women, infants and the elderly? Apparently all home use eggs are branded but in foodservice there are still eggs available that don’t carry the lion mark for safety.

British Lion Eggs want to raise awareness of the lion mark and they want chefs to get involved by posting their best egg images or videos on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. Simply #AskForTheLion in your post and you'll be entered to win a prize of a Michelin-starred meal voucher of £200 at a restaurant of your choice in the UK.

The image with the most likes across all channels will be the winner. Entries close at 5pm on June 2, likes will be noted at that time and no likes after that time will be counted.

The rules
• There is one prize to give away.
• The competition will run until 17.00 on Sunday 2 June 2019 (UK
time).
• To enter you must #ASKFORTHELION
• Any personnel who are employed by The Staff Canteen or any
brands mentioned in the survey cannot enter the prize draw and
will find their entry invalid.
• Any questions arising from the survey are to be sent by e-mail to
[email protected]
• Likes will be counted by The Staff Canteen on each post likes after 5pm on 02/06/19 will not be counted
• The Staff Canteen will contact the winner via social media within 14 days
of the closing date.
• The winner will have 3 days (from receiving the notification) to reply and
claim the prize. If they fail to claim the prize within this time frame
The Staff Canteen will draw the winner again.
• The winner has 1 month (30 days) from the date of the draw to
decide which Michelin star restaurant (in the UK) they would like to
eat at. If the winner fails to inform The Staff Canteen within this
timeframe the prize will be null and void and the winner will not be
entitled to the prize or any alternative.
• The Winner must fully comply with these T & C’s and by entering
this competition you agree to the T & C’s of the website also.
• All prizes are offered in good faith.
• The Staff Canteen reserves the right to alter or amend these rules
at any time and to suspend or cancel the competition at any time.
• Failure to use #ASKFORTHELION due to technical difficulties, or
for any other reason, is not the responsibility of The Staff Canteen.
• No cash alternative will be offered.
• The prize is non-transferable, cannot be sold, auctioned or
swapped.
• The Staff Canteen also reserves the right to record the winners
through pictures, video and other media sources and use this material
in future promotional activity.
• Prize will be sent by recorded post to the address supplied by the
winner, The Staff Canteen accept no responsibility for the failure
of this to arrive.
• The prize chosen will be valid until the date stated on the individual
voucher, it is the winners responsibility to ensure the voucher/s
are used prior to expiry.
• The winner is responsible for making their own reservation once
they are in receipt of the voucher.
• If sufficient notice is not given to cancel the booking (as per the
restaurants cancellation policy) the winner may forfeit the prize.
At this point the prize will be null and void and the winner will not
be entitled to the prize or any alternative.
• The winner will be responsible for settling all other incidentals.
The Staff Canteen will not be responsible for settling any other
costs incurred.
• The winner will be responsible for making their own way to and
from the restaurant.
