We're excited to be taking a stellar line-up of chefs For The Staff Canteen Live At HRC with us on March 3rd, 4th and 5th - including Jason Atherton, Tom Kerridge, Angela HartnettSimon Hulstone and Michel Roux Jr

They will be on stage with a member of their team and cook for the live audience attending the event, showcasing emblematic dishes on the menu at their iconic restaurants. 

We know you can't contain your excitement, don't worry there are only a few more weeks to go but to keep you going until then our guest chefs will all be taking over our Instagram so you can ask them anything you want.

After Sally Abé from The Harwood Arms last week, Bubbledogs founder Sandia Chang and her partner, Michelin-starred chef of Kitchen Table James Knappett took over our Instagram to answer all your questions. 

What are both of your favourite dishes on the menu at KT?

We don't have a single favourite dish. It's important that we believe that every dish is our favourite, or else why would we serve it to our guests?

What is your least favourite ingredient to work with?

Truffle oil...


What's your secret for an incredible broth/stock?

A stock pot is not a bin. Every ingredient you put in there needs to be world class in order to produce a world class stock. 

What's your favourite bubbles/dish pairing?

Tater tots or French fries!

James - who inspired you to become a chef?

Rick Stein!

What's for lunch? 

We just had a great lunch at The White Swan at Fence.


Do you still get guests who ask for a window seat when they book?

All the time! We also get asked for private seats.

Favourite place to eat out?

Restaurant A.Wong

Scone-related question: jam then cream or cream then jam?

Definitely cream then jam!

What will happen first, 3 stars for KT or 3 points for gunners?

Definitely 2 stars for KT!
