British Beef and Horseradish Sausages

As an incredibly popular meat within the UK, beef recipes are vast and varied. With a range of beef cuts to consider as well as cooking methods and flavour pairings, beef recipes are varied in flavour, texture and preparation time - give this one a try for yourself! Servings: 10 Prep time: 30 minutes Cook time: 40 minutes

Ingredients

  • 20 beef and horseradish sausages
  • 30ml MAGGI Beef Liquid Concentrated Fonds
  • 30g plain flour
  • 500ml of British beer
  • 200g MAGGI Mashed Potato Flakes, mixed with 1Ltr boiling water
  • Bunch fresh parsley, chopped

Method

Method
Toss the sausages in the MAGGI Beef Liquid Concentrated Fonds and roast in a hot oven at 180 until cooked (about 25 minutes).
Remove the sausages and keep warm.
Add the flour to the pan and cook for 1 minute then add the beer.
Bring to a simmer and leave to thicken.
If needed add some more MAGGI Beef Liquid Concentrated Fonds for flavour, as one of the key benefits of it is that you can add it any time during the cooking process.
Mix the MAGGI Mashed Potato Flakes and boiling water, then add the chopped parsley.
Serve the sausages on the mash then pour over the gravy.
