Chicken with Sherry and Orange Sauce with MAGGI Golden Gravy

From roasted chicken to stuffed chicken breast, chicken recipes are vast and varied.   • Ingredients:
  • 10 x 150g Chicken breast boneless and skinless
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil 100g
  • 20 Shallots peeled and left whole
  • 300ml Medium dry sherry
  • 2 sprigs Fresh thyme
  • 300ml Fresh orange juice
  • 6 tbsp Seville orange marmalade thick cut
  • 1ltr MAGGI Golden Gravy prepared
  • Freshly ground pepper, as needed
  • 1 tbsp Fresh thyme chopped


Heat the oil in a large, heavy-based pan with a lid. Add the chicken and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden brown. Add the shallots and cook for a further 2-3 minutes until they begin to soften. Pour in the sherry, reduce slightly, then add the remaining ingredients. Bring back to the boil, cover and simmer gently for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove the lid and continue to simmer for 10-15 minutes, until the sauce has thickened and the chicken is thoroughly cooked. Stir in the thyme.
