Crunchy maple nuts

Minimal effort for maximum taste - this recipe can be used on a variety of nuts including walnuts, pecans and almonds

Ingredients

  • 115g nuts of your choice
  • 75ml maple syrup

Method

Heat the nuts in a pan on low heat to bring out their flavour and make them crunchy.

Remove from heat and add maple syrup.

Place back on the stove and mix frequently until the sugar crystallizes and sticks to the nuts.

Place the nuts on a non-stick surface to cool.
