- 60ml pure maple syrup
- 12g melted butter
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 12 corn ears
Ingredients
Method
Fire up the barbecue/grill to preheat on high. In a bowl, combine the first three ingredients. Set the butter aside for later. Strip away the first layer of husks from each ear. Gently spread out the remaining husk leaves, remove the hairy corn silk and baste the corn cob with butter… yum! Pat the remaining husks back around the cob and wrap each cob in aluminum foil. Place cobs on the barbecue. After 4 minutes. give the cobs a quarter turn to another side. Repeat this three times. After 16 minutes, you are done: now, enjoy the sweet corn.
