Mexican Meatballs

  • 3 Garlic cloves
  • 200g Onions
  • 800g Lean minced beef and minced pork
  • 50g Breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp Flat leaf parsley chopped
  • 1 tbsp Fresh mint chopped
  • 1 tsp Ground cumin
  • ½ tsp Allspice
  • 50g MAGGI Rich & Rustic Tomato Sauce 3kg
  • 1 Egg beaten

Method

Method
Blitz the onion & garlic in a blender or food processor.
Transfer to a large bowl and mix in the minced meat and all the remaining ingredients except the smoky tomato sauce.
Chill to firm up for about 10mins. Then roll into balls approx 3cm in diameter.
Once again leave them to rest in the fridge until ready to cook.
Place the meatballs into an oven proof dish, cover with the sauce and cover the top.
Bake in an oven preheated to 175⁰C for about 45mins until the meatballs are cooked thorough.
