More about Duchess Farms:

A sixth-generation family farm, Duchess Farms has seen many changes over time, from its origins as a dairy
farm to today producing award-winning rapeseed oil. Although the farm has been around for generations, the
story of Duchess Oil began during the 2012 harvest, when Oscar Harding decided to do things a little
differently. The farm owes a great deal to Oscar’s great-grandmother— affectionately known as ‘Duchess’—
who was a progressive farmer, something unheard of at the time and even more so that a woman should be
the one leading the charge. It was her that inspired Oscar when naming the business; a nod to the
importance of celebrating tradition alongside modern techniques.
