- 20lb 8oz Wholemeal Flour
- 6lb 4oz Strong Flour
- 1/2lb Bread Soda
- 1lb 3oz Salt
- 3lb 12 oz Oatmeal
- 3lb 12oz Wheatgerm
- 3lb 12oz Soft Diced Butter
- 3lb 12oz Wheat Bran
- 14pts Guinness (check consistency, may have to add a little more depending)
- 10ltr Milk
- 10tins treacle (4540g)

Mix all the dry ingreds together INCLUDING the butter
Add the milk.
Heat the treacle with a little of the guinness & add to the mix followed by the remaining Guinness
Grease loaf tins
Mould mix into tins & cook for 1&1/2 hours at 145oC
