Bran Brack

Something that is traditional Irish & great with a cuppa tea or toasted with butter

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Self raising flour
  • 4 cups dried mixed fruits
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 cups cold strong black tea
  • 2 eggs

Method

1. Slieve flour into mixing bowl& add sugar & dried fruits
2. In mixing bowl add in eggs & tea mix slowly & thoroughly
3. Transfer into greased & line loaf tin
4. Bake for 2 & 1/2 hours at 350oF
