Pickled herrings
Light pickle, good after 6hours, last up to 4days. Best at 24hours in my opinion
Ingredients
Method
Fillet (A) and remove pin bones. Bring (B) to a simmer, add (C). Cool completely. Layer in a small deep tray/container, alternating between (A) and (D), pouring the cooled (A&B)! As you go. Place into the fridge and leave for at least 6hrs. Serve with creme fraiche, crostini and vodka!
