makes about 400g

Ingredients

  • 160g butter
  • 5g salt
  • 250g flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp water

Method

seive flour onto worktop
rub butter into flour with salt
add egg and water
work pastry for a few mins
chill in fridge before use
