knead lightly
roll out and cut ...

  • 250g flour
  • 175g sugar
  • 175g butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1tbsp caraway seeds
  • 1bsp sherry
  • 1/2 tsp groung nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp rosewater

Method

mic dry ingredients
rub in butter
work in egg, sherry, rosewater
knead lightly
roll out and cut out rounds
p***k the surface
bake at 140'C for 20 mins
cool on a rack
