spice bread version 2

warm milk and honey
place both flours, sugar, baking powder, butter and mix to breadcrumbs.


  • 100ml milk
  • 200g chestnut honey
  • 150g rye flour
  • 150g plain white flour
  • 75g demerara sugar
  • 25g baking powder
  • 75g unsalted butter
  • 2eggs
  • 1 orange zested
  • ½ lemon zested
  • 50g candied orange peel
  • 50g candied angelica
  • 5g ground ginger
  • 5g ground green aniseed
  • 3g ground cinnamon
  • 2g ground nutmeg
  • 1g ground cloves.


warm milk and honey
place both flours, sugar, baking powder, butter and mix to breadcrumbs.
Fold in milk mix and eggs.
Add rest of ingredients
pour into tin bake at 160 for 45-50 mins.
Turn out of tin and cool
