Roll out pastry and line tart case.
Spread with jam
Blitz walnut and flour to crumbs (not too much...

Ingredients

  • 340g sweet pastry
  • 3 tabs rasp jam
  • 225g walnut pieces
  • 50g plain flour
  • 225g soft butter
  • 225g caster sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1tsp vanilla extract

Method

Roll out pastry and line tart case.
Spread with jam
Blitz walnut and flour to crumbs (not too much or will go oily)
Cream butter together until pale, add eggs, vanilla, then walnut flour.
Spread into case right up to the top.
Bake at 180oc for 50-55 mins.
