Method
Place damsons in the tray sprinkle over with sugar. Cook for 20mins
Mix the flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, and butter to breadcrumbs.
Beat eggs and buttermilk together.
Mix in to a soft dough, roll out pieces and dot over the damsons.
Sprinkle with the almonds and remaining sugar.
Bake for 30-35 mins.
Remove and cool slightly.
