classic

Ingredients

  • 210ml milk
  • 100ml cream
  • 1 vanilla pod
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 tbsp caster sugar

Method

heat the milk and cream with the vanilla
mix the sugar with the egg yolks
add the cream and vanilla mix to the egg mix and heat until thickened
pass through a seive
serve
